14 new tracks are on their way to the supportive and longtime listeners of Sara Bareilles. On the singer’s Good Grief Tour, she’s opening up about the most difficult themes through her voice that has made her one of the most remarkable talents of her generation. To welcome her newest album, the singer has also premiered a documentary for the process of creating it, and the world premiere for Sara Bareilles: Good Grief was recently held in New York.
One of the songs from Good Grief is a previously heard work from Sara Bareilles and 11-time Grammy Award winner Brandi Carlile, and Salt then Sour then Sweet is prime proof of how this album is going to give everyone an unforgettable listening experience. After stepping back from the studio after releasing Amidst the Chaos in 2019, Sara has worked on more musicals aside from Waitress, graced the television for ten-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey’s Girls5eva, and made songs for the icon Meryl Streep and Emily in Paris star Ashley Park. In crafting her seventh studio album, she collaborated with two-time Grammy Award winner Aaron Dessner, who has notably worked on Taylor Swift’s folklore, evermore, and The Tortured Poets Department albums. Sara has opened up that she sees this album as “a love letter to the hardest chapter” of her life.
